about me
So the thing about writing About Me pages is, well, they are all about you. Or they're are supposed to sum up in a short amount of space these wonderful, sparkly things about you that make people ooh and ahh. Well, as someone who has never done well tooting their own horn in the company of others, that just isn't something I'm good at.
What I can do is tell you that many, many moons ago, a little girl in 3rd grade dreamed of writing. She would write imaginative, funny stories and what she thought were dark, frightening thrillers.
But as the years moved on, dreams were crushed, confidence shattered, and life moved on.
Then as the gray replaced her chestnut brown hair and the years crept closer to 50 than 40, a switch was flipped.
That girl became the woman I am today. The words "Do it anyway" became my mantra. So, I put pen to paper (figuratively as the times had long since changed) and began writing once again.
From there, grew a book, a planner and several fiction books in the works.
I guess dreams really do come true.
